Title: adjunct professor of music
Peggy Lupton earned the Bachelor of Music degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Master's of Music in Music Education from East Carolina University. She has taught piano for 45 years in institutional and private studios in Georgia and North Carolina. Mrs. Lupton is on the faculty of Cape Fear Community College where she received the Marilyn Goodman Anderson Award for Excellence in Teaching in August 2018.
Mrs. Lupton teaches piano at CFCC to college music majors working toward the AFA in music degree and recreational music makers, as well as classes in music appreciation, American music, and country music. She enjoys judging piano competitions and festivals.
