Play-a-Thon

Since 2017, CFMTA has held an annual Play-A-Thon in November or December to raise money for Lower Cape Fear Life Care/Hospice Care. Teachers, students, their families, and the residents of the host venue enjoy the opportunity to hear live music performances while raising money for a worthy cause! Past venues include Artworks, Carolina Bay, Ogden Baptist Church, and Trinity Landing. 

The 2026 Play-a-Thon is scheduled for November 14, 2026, Saturday, and will have two locations: 

1. Wilmington: Masonboro Baptist Church, 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. (POC: Mary Gheen)

2. CFMTA - North: Sneads Ferry Presbyterian Church, 776 NC-210, Sneads Ferry, 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. (POC: Kristin Young) 

Participating students: $10/student. Additional donations to Hospice gratefully accepted!
